About the Firewalk Facilitator

Tracey Owens Firewalk Facilitator Tracey Owens is an experienced, professionally trained, and certified Firewalking Instructor. With Tracey, you will learn everything you need to know to have a safe and profoundly unique experience of deep spiritual empowerment and personal transformation.

This Firewalk is a sacred ceremony culminating in the opportunity for participants to walk the coals if they choose to.  “Each person will decide for themselves that evening whether to walk or not walk. It is not required! Empowerment is gained either way!”

About the Ice Plunge Facilitator

Justin Nutt

Ice Plunge Facilitator Justin Nutt is a Kripalu Yoga Instructor, Avid Meditator and Wim Hof Practitioner. You will receive guidance and preparation to slowly and safely experience deliberate exposure to cold stress, in order to revitalize your bodily systems.
 
You are invited to explore what you are capable of and Justin will be a partner for you in this experience.

About the Yoga Facilitator

Diane Ferguson
 
Yoga Instructor Diane Ferguson is a Philosophy Major, 500 Hour RYT Yoga Instructor, Reiki Master, and Teacher. Following her Dharma, she joyfully expresses her love for movement, the yogic principles, and introspection as a way of life.

Diane practices various types of yoga, savoring different aspects of each style. With a full heart, she embraces her journey as an instructor, incorporating meditation, guided Savasana, readings, essential oils, and a sense of playfulness in her classes. Sharing her gifts is one of her deepest passions while sharing light and watching people heal through the process. 

She embraces a quote by B.K.S Iyengar that says, “Yoga is a light, which once lit, will never dim.” 

About the Sound Bath Facilitator

Swan Michelle
 
Sound Bath Facilitator Swan Michelle has been a strong force in serving, innovating and leading the wellness & yoga community of the Gulf Coast & New Orleans full time, since 1998. Her education in wellness is extensive to Internationally recognized teachers such as Ram Dass, Sharon Gannon and His Holiness The Dalai Lama, to immersive training in India and SE Asia, and Sound Therapy and Ayurveda in the States. She has educated thousands of students in Yoga, Mantra, Energy Medicine Sound Therapy, Sanskrit, Restorative Yoga, Trauma informed Yoga, Ayurveda and holistic practices as she too has certifications in all of these modalities with highly accredited teachers. She is the Founder of Swan River Yoga LLC, the largest yoga studio in the Gulf region and Swan River Yoga Arabi, a community based non-profit donation based center, making yoga and wellness accessible to all.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

An empowering and life-affirming weekend, releasing what is holding you back from a life you love!
At this retreat you will:
  • Test the limits of your perceptions in a safe environment
  • Participate and observe in the activities that challenge those limiting perceptions
  • Recognize  mental and/or emotional blocks that keep you stuck
  • Change the physiological reaction to moving out of your comfort zone
  • Retrain your brain/body system to allow new possibilities

RETREAT SCHEDULE:

  • Friday Evening  Opening Ceremony with Tracey and Diane then Workshop and Firewalk followed by Integration Circle with Tracey Owens
  • Saturday Morning  Ice Plunge followed by Circle Sharing with Justin Nutt
  • Saturday Afternoon  “Ground & Integrate” Yoga with Diane Ferguson
  • Saturday Evening  Sound Bath with Swan Michelle
  • Sunday morning – Closing Group Breathwork Session with Tracey Owens, Diane Ferguson and Tullio Lowd then Closing Ceremony with Tracey and Diane

HOW TO PREPARE:

  • Come with an open mind!
  • Dress to be outside!
 
** All activities are included and optional. We will provide delicious and healthy meals prepared by Jennifer Hammonds. **
 

What to Bring:

– Journal
– Water bottle
– Lawn chair
– Yoga mat
– Beach Towel
– Firewalk attire (see below)
– Comfortable clothes for yoga
– Flip flops
– Walking sneakers
– Ice bath attire (see below)
– Shorts & summer attire
– Any additional snacks you may want
 
 
For Firewalk safety: 
Wear pants that can be rolled up, shorts, or skirts no longer than knee length. MUST BE 18 TO WALK! 
 
For Ice Plunge:
Wear a swimsuit or t-shirt and shorts

Arrive at 4 pm start promptly at 5pm
