  • Q: How much does registration cost?

  • A: Registration is $1,100 for a double occupancy room and $1,200 for a single occupancy room at Kanuga for the nights of September 5th-8th, 2019. Early bird registration for a double occupancy room is $900 and $1,000 for a single occupancy room until July 15th. These rates include all group meals as well as retreat materials and experiences.

  • Q: Can I cancel my registration?

  • A: You can cancel your registration and receive a full refund until August 5th, and an 80% refund up until September 1st. There will not be any weather cancellations – this event is rain or shine.

  • Q: Can I share a room with someone?

  • A: If you want to reduce your room cost and share a room with someone, please select double occupancy upon registration and we will add you to a roommate pairing list.

  • Q: Can I arrive early at Kanuga or stay later and still get the group discount rate for my room?

  • A: Fire Starter has arranged for the group room rate to be extended after the event for 3 days if you want to stay and enjoy the ambiance.

  • Q: When can I check into the resort?

  • A: Check in time is 4:00pm. Early check in will need to be pre-arranged and is on a “where available” basis.

  • Q: What time is check out?

  • A: Check out at the resort is 12:00pm. Late check out can also be arranged on a “where possible” basis.

  • Q: What should we bring?

  • A: Comfortable clothes. It will likely be very chilly outdoors in the evenings, so bring warm clothes and layers. If you plan to hike, bring good walking shoes. You may want to bring a water bottle or coffee mug, and yoga clothes, although they will not be necessary. The resort will do its best to accommodate special dietary requirements, but you may wish to bring certain items for yourself if they are hard to find. Most importantly, come ready to be open and inspired.
